Now we’re at back at Iron Empire, Johannesburg to deliver the biggest PRO meet on the continent once again. ABS South Africa 2 brings together three open divisions, giving lifters the opportunity to compete for more than just a podium place, PRO-AM division winners will earn a coveted golden invite to ABS PRO 9 in Dublin, representing South Africa on the international stage.

To find out which division you belong to, please refer to the images below. If you're unsure of your ABS points, don't worry – you can use the calculator provided.
New to the platform?
You'll start in Division 2, but if you compete and achieve a score that qualifies you for a higher division, you'll be automatically promoted. Remember, you can register using either DOTS or ABS points, whichever gives you the better standing!
WEIGH-IN INFO
Weigh-in times will be communicated via email to all lifters, usually no more than 24 hours prior to the lifting time. For example, if your division is scheduled to start at 15:00 on Sunday, your weigh-in slot will be available starting at 15:00 on Saturday. Please keep an eye on your inbox for the exact details!
WORK YOUR WAY TO THE TOP
Our unique promotion system is based on points, meaning your performance directly influences your progression.
Starting in Division 2, newcomers will compete to earn their way up to 1, and from there, you can advance to the PRO-AM division.
All divisions are open for entry without the need for invites, and we also host special divisions like Teens, U21, U23, and Masters at select events.

The big 3 ABS Invitational events are: ABS PRO, CLASH OF TITANS, and The RUMBLE.
These competitions highlight the pinnacle of professional powerlifting, where the finest athletes from around the globe compete for one of our three belts.
Each event presents unique challenges and pathways to victory, granting invitations to those who excel in the ABS Series or rank among the world’s best lifters.
With cash prizes at stake, participants can also proudly represent their country in the ABS international; singlet.
